Rick(Levi)Amburgey started playing accordian at the age of six. Rick got his first guitar at the age of ten and started playing the club circuit at the age of 18 along with being a guitar instructor for several years.

Today, this artist who has played rock, top 40, jazz, the blues, and now country and Christian country music has set out to make his place in the world of entertainment once again.

Rick (Levi) currently drives a semi for a major LTL Carrier in the trucking industry out of Nashville, TN on a full time basis. His dreams are to utilize the talents God has given him. With prayer and faith, today those dreams are becoming a reality. Today Rick (Levi) Amburgey's music is rapidly becoming a favorite for many listeners across the world.

I would like to begin by saying thank you for spending your time on this site and listening to my music.  Fans/friends like you make an artists life much better.

My hearts desire has always been to become a recording artist from a very young age.  Through my high school years I've played in a few bands and performed at many school functions.  That led me to performing in the club circuit and teaching guitar right out of high school.  I dropped out of music in the early 80's due to other responsibilities after my first child was born.  In the late 90's  I decided to persue my dream once again.  I went back to my roots (country music) after performing rock, top 40, blues, and jazz music.  I had always been a back up singer during those times but decided I needed to sing the feelings in my heart.  That heart was changed by Jesus Christ after giving my life to HIM in 1981.

Today, my love for Christian country and country music increases daily.  As you listen to the few songs I have recorded over the past few years please listen to what the words are saying.  They are straight from my heart.

As I go on to complete my CD in 2008 expect to hear what really lay's on my heart. Even though I enjoy music with alot of emotion and feeling I also enjoy music that pics the spirit up and makes you want to get up to dance and shout.
