Richard grew up working the ranches of Eastern New Mexico. This gave him and his brother Glenn, who co writes with Richard, an honest perspective of cowboy life and ways that come out in his music and songs. His earlier music career included playing with many well known Country Western bands traveling throughout the SouthWest.
