44 year old Rex Paul Schnelle grew up in Marble Falls, Texas. After high school, he called Austin home until he moved to Nashville with his wife in 1989. Playing and producing over 3000 sessions, he has had the good fortune of working with a huge assortment of hit making artists, from Jon Bon Jovi, Randy Bachmann of BTO, Jack Blades of Damn Yankees and Night Ranger, to Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Olivia Newton John, Tim McGraw, Brooks and Dunn and a long list of hall-of-fame songwriters.

As an artist, he has recorded with Eric Johnson, Phil Keaggy, Dann Huff and more to come! His music has been described as "prodigious guitar based rock song crafting".
