Grammy winner Patrick Robinson, producer, pianist, guitarist, and songwriter, has always composed intriguing, intense music. Irene Lambrou is the lucky torchy-jazz-rock singer who gets to add words and voice to some of it. Their unique, sophisticated folk/rock project MEDEA features drummer Pat Domanico (Second Vision), guitarist Tony Winkler (Countdown to Ecstasy) and bassist Rich Curtis (Dukes of Destiny). The band just completed their long-awaited follow-up to 2003's The Miracle Line and 1999's Dreams & Revelations, both of which were released to critical acclaim. "Medea will put a spell on you with their dreamy music I'd dub 'goth-elegant." (Philadelphia Inquirer). Medea's "dreamy but sinister electro-jazzy folk" has "a clean, folky XPN vibe, full of ethereal lyrical ruminations." (Philadelphia CityPaper).
