Rename was founded in Germany by frontman Marcus Fellechner as a project intended to create ultra-catchy electronic pop music that would be as memorable on the radio as on the dance club floor. Other creative minds have contributed to Rename's sound through the years and several albums and singles have been released by the US label A Different Drum for the international market.
