Q: hey bro dig your stuff i lived in nashville for a year lets just say it wasnt for me lol love the town though anyways best of luck and wishes to you my new friend

A: Big Jo, ya know what I tell peeps when they come here? Go home. Rub elbows, get the feeling of the city and don't become one of our homeless. Go home to where you can stand out. Where you will be loved. Then grow your local fan base. You're good enough. They say, Ray, you're here. But I'm not here for the money. It's where my son was born and raised. It's where my job is. I've been playin' music here over 17 years. If they tell you they are making a lot of money in Nashville, they are one of two things. Famous (that includes famous studio musicians and famous writers) or they are liars. So don't feel bad about leaving. You did the right ;thing. If you ever catch that brass ring, don't forget to spread the love. God Bless and thanks for sayin' hey.
