Random Hero / Press

“Random Hero is a good recommendation for those who follow any of the bands listed in this review. It was a good move to incorporate Kasica into the production, as he's very familiar with the style and was able to help Random Hero achieve the sound they were going for, and with very clean production on top of it. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see these guys sign with a major label like Essential or BEC. Keep an eye out for them, and in the meantime, check out Breakdown.”

“The frontman of Random Hero — an alternative Christian rock band — paused before launching into the next song Saturday afternoon, giving headbangers a break. “As a band, we can sing about sex, drugs and rock and roll,” said singer Aaron Watkins, who wears a Mohawk. “Or, we can sing about hope.””

“4/14/2010 - BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Every good film is better with a good sound track to match. One Buckley NCO, and his band, made a song specifically for the Buckley Guardian Challenge team's entry video. All the teams are required to have their own entry video for portions of the contest as a way to promote team esprit de corps. Buckley is the only team with a song made just for them by a locally radio aired rock band. ”

“How are these guys still listed as unsigned? Maybe I missed a memo, email, fax… If you’re a fan of hard rock and the Denver music scene, Random Hero’s new EP named ‘The EP’ is immensely enjoyable showing strong song-writing skills and attention to well-crafted lyrics. While starting strong, the band knows how to build to a climax with their best songs being the last two – ‘Done Pretending’ and ‘Goodmorning’. They’re stumble on the album is certainly the song ‘Breathe’ sounding like an odd throwback to the 80′s. While a decent song, it doesn’t sound like the band really ‘connected’ to make it what it should have been.”

“Local hero, Random Hero, just pushed out an EP specifically for some big record execs. If this EP is any indication, Random Hero will be Colorado’s next big breakout act. Featuring five songs including their hit “Pull the Trigger,” a song which pretty much captures what they’re about, stadium-rocking anthems, thundering bass/drums, movie-esque keys, and maybe Colorado’s best Metal guitarist, Josh Bertrand. Already playing the big festivals including Van’s Warped Tour, and you may have also caught Josh on MTV’s reality show “Made,” where he tries in vain to coax a young high school wallflower into becoming a Punk-Rock singer to mixed results … I was scared for her. Check Random Hero out now, so you can say, “I knew them when.” MySpace.com/BandRandomHero ”

“Sometimes in life, the hardest rockers have the best hearts and strongest work ethics. Take Random Hero, for example. This Denver band formed in 2007, will tear the audience apart with epic Rock anthems that include “Pull the Trigger,” a concoction of power electric guitar, screaming vocals, and gothic chorus in the background to quench one’s thirst for ground-shaking Rock. But despite that ability, these guys are working harder than most to put out new music, tour, appear on an episode of “MADE” with MTV, and most importantly, love on their fans.”
