“Great track! Would make a great movie sound track. I love the beginning when the thumping beat kicks up and the strings blend in. Nice addition of the guitar. All round great track, have thumbs!”
“Great single to debut an album with. Enjoyed reading the bio...interesting journey to this point. Liked the write- music -then- learn- to- play approach ;) The single is a departure from your acoustic and voice roots, but not too far. Lots of production and arranging skills being developed here. This track is very tight, and all the parts relate well to each other..little piano fills...drums are big...electronica elements give a lot of breadth and a haunting quality, electric guitars over the acoustic give it an edge, vocal layers make it bigger...lots to notice in this. Posting the lyrics too? Dark night of the soul indeed. Thumbs!”
“I like the feel of this tune. Lively feel is all there in spades. Arrangement is solid and this has an authentic stance. The reverb on the drum smack is a welcomed addition.”
“I dig it! Nice work man!”
“What I like the most about this is that it's a great album, which seems to be a rare thing to find anymore. It flows well and has a lot of dynamics. It has it's heavy parts, slower parts, instrumentals and vocals. I have to agree with the other review and say the best song is "Seven Trumpets". It is easily my favorite song because it shows off some of the song writer's best lyrics. With this being the first music I've heard from this artist, I really look forward to seeing what all they can do. I highly recommend this music.”
"I really like Stars / Dusk. Great work man!"
“Very pleased with this purchase, definetly worth the cost! You wont be disapointed. All tracks are well written and the music is just beautiful! Favorites are "Anthem", "In the Dessert", "Black Crow", "It Still Moves", "The Breath". I loved "Love Comes Calling", and "The Last Question". The best one on the entire album to me is "Seven Trumpets" . . . EXCELLENT! Very original, and hope to see more from this artist in the future.”
