Mrs. Salarpour has been involved with Iranian children's media ever since she was a teenager. She began in Iran with dubbing English children films into Farsi. Mrs. Salarpour was the voice of Pinocchio in the Persian version of the Disney classic film. Since then Mrs. Salarpour has never stopped working for the kids. She has been developing and marketing Iranian children's books, audio tapes, radio and television shows, DVDs and more for Iranian youth. In fact, her latest project "Deev" has just been released. The "Deev" DVD is a very rare one hour program applying animation, theater, puppetry, and dance into a presentation of Persian culture and history. Presented entirely in English, "Deev" highlights great Persian works such as the Shahnameh and Haft Khan Rostam (Seven Hurdles of Rostam). As you can imagine, Mrs. Salarpour places a great value in the knowledge of Persian culture and history. She always emphasizes reading and more importantly the writing of Farsi. Mrs. Salarpour encourages Iranian families
