 The Quad Cities Gritty Committee was established to help promote real hiphop music. What do you contribute to the art form? What is the message in your music? When we think about real hiphop music, we're reminded of iconic artists such as KRS-One and Rakim. Individuals who were way ahead of their time and had put great thought and passion into their music. That is where we strive to take hiphop music back to. The Gritty Committee is here to take hiphop music back to what it used to be. Hard, gritty beats breaking concrete alongside of lyrics that actually have substance. Pure hiphop beats. Pure hiphop rhymes. Pure HipHop. That's what we're about.
