Punxie & The Poison Pens are possibly the best, most original, yet least recognized rock band in Australia.

Punxie and the Poison Pens are Punxie (vocals, being incredibly incredibly good-looking), Matt Poison (musical genius, guitars, bourbon and coke), Simon Venom (drums/ultra-musician/telling Punxie to move more), and JimbOb (bass). 

Matt and Simon are ‘not-so-elder statesmen’ of the Brisbane punk rock scene,  learning their trade playing in some of Brisbane’s most popular original underground punk rock bands of the 1980’s, including Scruff the Cat and The Bystanders.

JimbOb’s previous bands include popular original hard rock group Travesty.

Punxie is just Punxie. It’s her band.
