“....drawing from hippie heroes like the Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Joplin and Hendrix, the Boston-based band Psychedelic Relics know how to get a Sixties groove going. Their singer/drummer is even named Poppy Seed. This is no ordinary cover group, their rich-harmonies and stellar musical accompaniment set them apart”

Q: What type of music do you play?

A: We perform the music from the 60's and 70's. Back in the time that you'd rush down to your local music store and buy a record. Get home and put on the record player. Remember those? Balancing the needle with a penny so it wouldn't skip. You'd listen to Beatles, CCR, Hendrix, Mamas and Papas, Joplin, Clapton, Jefferson Airplane, Stones and all the cool music of that time. That's the music we play. To this day, those bands and songs from that era continue to grow with all the kids that never got to experience that type of music. I love hearing a Beatles song blaring from a car full of 20 year olds at a stop sign. Makes me smile.
