The Chronicles of Pop Murder

Back in the days where Mario was constantly searching for The Princess who was constantly in another castle, the seeds of greatness were being planted. Under the guidance on Sensei Kreese from the Cobra Kai dojo, Vinny Salinas and Kimo Sanborn set out on a quest to create the greatest band of all time. In 2006, that dream came to fruition as Jim Utterback, Jerry Langhorst, Nick Benigno and Eric Stewart joined together like effing Voltron to create Pop Murder.

As fans of heavy metal, and not fans of pop music, the band decided to take back all the catchy, yet lame pop songs over the years and recreate them in hard rock/heavy metal, murdering them! From the 80's to the present, from Wham to Britney Spears, NO pop music is safe from the wrath of Pop Murder's glory!

The band debuted at the legendary October Birthday Bash with a surprise 2 song set, to which people went crazier than Michael Jackson at Disneyland! Later that year, The Murder returned to the stage with a full set and blew the Bay Area away! Now, at nearly 2 years later, Pop Murder continues to decimate Northern California and soon, the world! This band has been best described as a colostomy bag full of glitter. At first glance, it appears to be full of crap, but on closer inspection, when you see inside, it's mostly metal, but still pretty gay. And make no mistake, NO ONE is safe from our deliciousness!
