This is it!!! It's time to rock out for a great cause!!! On Saturday, May 12, Old Winston Social Club will be the place to be to show your support for a great local charity! Every year, over 80,000 women are diagnosed with Gynecologic Cancer, resulting in 28,000 deaths. Athena's Fighting Chance, in cooperation with Athena's Run, is dedicated to seeking new treatments, with the ultimate goal of finding a cure! Saturday, May 12, will be an exciting night of music, food, friends, and fun, in order to help strengthen our goal! Nine bands are ready to rock the crowd for this special benefit! The bands are as follows: Joe Blevins, Lollipop Princess Party, Sub Q, Harlot's Web, Play Dirty, Slawterhaus 5, Porch Dog Revival, Jamie Carroll, and Karon Click and the Hot Licks! Delicious dishes will be provided by The Piedmont Club, Foothills Brewing, 1703 Restaurant & Catering, and more! A raffle will be held, with prizes including a $100 cut 'n' color from Dye Pretty Salon, a $25 credit at Silver Moon Saloon, and more! Plus, cool auction items will be up for bid! The cover is only $7 at the door, which includes all nine bands, delicious cuisine, and a complementary raffle ticket! All proceeds go to the FMC Foundation GYN Cancer Fund! Come out on this night, shake your tail feather, and have some good fun for a great cause!!!
