About
P.J.'s released her first 'debut' album in 1994, which went on to win "Album of the Year '94" and "Best Female Indie Artist '94" in Europe (per the ECMA). She was also voted " Star Of Tommorrow - 1994 ", as reported by Airplay International. At one point, P.J. had 4 singles from that album hit the TOP 20 (at the same time) on the European-American-Asian Entertainment Network charts... never before done, according to their CEO! (Hear sneak peaks of this CD and read the reviews at: www.cdbaby.com/pjprice) . You may want to pick up a copy of it as well, as we're told the quantity is 'low' on this CD and there are no plans to repress any additional copies!
The album kicked off her first European tour... but that was just the beginning. P.J. later went on to release other artists on her label (Priceless Records), affording them much needed radio airplay and even touring opportunities. This compilation CD (Best of Texas) was praised as being one of the best compilation CD's ever released, by many D.J.'s in the overseas market. She also published her own country music magazine and has written numerous'guest articles' for many other publications. She also owns her own publishing company (Taste 'o Texas Music/BMI) which has successfully placed numerous song cuts for its' other songwriters...
Now, fastforward.....: P.J. left music for 13 years to pursue a successful real estate career in Texas. Then, last year, P.J. decided to release a new CD, but this one would be 'different' from the first. This one would contain all 'original' music by P.J., except for one song which she regretted not cutting on the last CD! The old CD only had 'one' of P.J.'s original songs on it.
Her new "Movin' On" CD is more 'mainstream'... not as 'traditional'. It consists of 11 songs, all of which are self-penned by P.J. except for one, with a 'brave' mixture of some traditional country... modern country... a sassy 'blues' tune... even a nice pop ballad! P.J. is very 'diverse' in her writing styles and her capability to sing across the board makes for a fantastic variety that will literally cross 'borders', and there will be something that will appeal to everyone! Her 2nd radio release from this new CD (GAME OF LIFE) went to # 1 in the Indieworld chart, beating "Little Texas" out of the # 1 spot! That song remained on that chart for over 4 months! You can hear sneak peaks of this new CD at: www.cdbaby.com/pjprice2 .
For now, P.J. has pretty much had to put real estate on the 'back burner' and is staying quiet busy on the music front... She started selling and recruiting for "AVON" to help suppliment her income and she would really appreciate you dropping by her Avon shop at: www.youravon.com/pj-price .. Her decision to do that was a result of these tough 'economic times' which has hit so many people. Her Avon sales go to help offset the cost of advertising & radio releases for her music.., as well as help keep the cost of the CD's more 'reasonable' and 'affordable' to everyone... so we Thank You in advance for your support!
You can also download individual singles at: www.digstation.com ... Right now, singles are priced from .39 cents to .79 cents each and you can download the entire CD for only $ 6.99!
We appreciate your support and hope you enjoy our music!
Hugs from Texas,
Priceless Records....
