“Philosopha - I Can't Lose Video”

“On the Grind Management presents NEW Philosopha Video "I Can't Lose"”

“Philosopha is back at it after dropping the stellar “Streets of Chicago V3″ and is preparing his upcoming Album Just Dope. He knows the fiends need a fix so he is dropping this loose track as a free taste before the next project drops. I Can’t Lose is gritty and as a feeling of hunger attached to every bar. Any person with a dream can relate to this song. The video matches the intensity of Philosopha’s voice as he goes in on the track. Look for Just Dope sometime in the summer from Wood B Noise Inc. ”

“Philosopha - I Can't Lose (Official Music Video)”

“There is a lot of musical artists who are simply failures. I’ll be direct and to the point, because you know it’s true. For Philosopha, he says something in the same vein of what Rob Base once mentioned in a song: “‘ause I’m the winner, no, I’m not the loser/to be an MC is what I choose“. Brand new track is called “I Can’t Lose”, and now you can view the video in all of its humbled glory.”

“On The Grind Management put together an impressive lineup this past Thursday (3/21) at Reggie’s Rock Club for their A Night of Chicago Hip Hop event. There were plenty of good performances throughout the night from Philosopha, D2G, KiDD Tha Chicagoan, Dreezy, Phenom, Que Billah, Really Doe, Vic Spencer, MC Tree and headliner GLC. “CHI: This was the scene at new Chicago "Respect The Youth" event last week at Harold Washington. This was an awesome recurring event I had the pleasure of attending, that is for the sole purpose of benefitting young local mcs, giving winners music flash drive distribution deals. This video catches the aftermath of the show where recording artist, Freeway, invites Chicago mcs @Philosopha, Hiphop Detox, etc on stage for live freestyle cypher!!! S/O to NoTryDo.Sincere for bringing these resources to the Chicago hiphop community!”

“video of Philosopha’s cypher with Philadelphia Freeway. The cypher was held after Philosopha opened up for Freeway at the RESPECT THE YOUTH concert. Freeway making the “mean face” during Philosopha’s freestyle was classic.”

“Philosopha say relax, you’re quite safe here. (Bonus points if you understand the Zang Tuum Tumb in what I just wrote out.) Last week, Philosopha made things look easy. The man is still taking it easy, and he’s showing us what he does by telling us this week to “Relax”. He is able to chill out a bit on the streets of Maywood, Illinois, at least in the video where a good portion of it was shot near the corner of Lake & NE 5th, hanging out by the train tracks and showing off what may one of his favorite rib joints. The video has a nice homemade vibe, there are shows where his face is blurred and the background is crystal clear, but I love that. Mix that with a song where he shares his ways of enjoying times of coolness and it’s quite casual. In the words of John Fogerty, Philosopha is down on the corner and out in the street being himself, no facades.”

“CHI: Here's a video from Philosopha's upcoming mixtape titled, "Streets of Chicago Vol. 3", which will be released October 2012. -babyfacemonster”
