Phillip the Meatbox / Press

“From the local bar scene to Madison Square Garden, it's been a heck of a run so far for Phillip the Meatbox. The longtime local cover band has played practically every bar and club in the mid-Hudson Valley, and it won't stop until every man, woman and child that sips a drink on a weekend night is "sweaty and satisfied." The inspiration for the music is the entertainment of the crowd. We try to bring people together in one place to simply have a good time. If they don't leave the club sweaty and satisfied then we haven't done our job as entertainers. The best thing about a PTM show is the music and fun we bring to a club. It's also the crowd's response to what we are playing. The people are there to have a good time and we do our best to give them a couple of hours of entertainment on a Friday or Saturday night. The guys in the band do this for fun but are serious about their musicianship. It shows in the quality of the music that comes out of the speakers.”
