Bio

"I'm getting sicker spitting lyrics for free..Next time a hunned G's if I come in an breathe...

Spoken like a true artist trying to get a deal, Phever was born and raised in the Flatbush/Canarsie section of Brooklyn. "My birth itself was a struggle, born the youngest of 5 to a 46 year old single mother. I found hip-hop in junior high after being left out of conversations cause I didn't know what was going on. I had an idea, but wasn't quoting or in depth about the history of the music. As soon as I got into in, I got INTO it. I used to spend nights locked up in my room battling my cousin in front of a cassette player, after, we would listen and compare ourselves. My first on stage performance, was in church and let's just say it wasn't a great moment in hip-hop history. After that disaster I used it as a learning tool on what not to do and started honing my skills at different events. I took a little layoff from the music to find myself outside of church. Ever since then music has been my expression, my voice, and my escape. Whether it was a freestyle battle on the corner or spitting a couple of quotables, music period has always been my outlet. I kept my options open and put my hands on acting and writing as well. God has blessed me, and right now I just want to take the opportunity and use all of my resources. Trust me, Brooklyn is still in this game. I'm going to help bring it back."

About

Everybody wants to read a gritty backdrop story, a fake hustle that started from a street minded individual. I am just the opposite of that I am just an individual with a God given talented that separates me from some. If I could rewrite certain pages in my life would I be satisfied? Would my personal struggle and outlook on life and the way I see the world be fit for song? Most people want to read the exact same story over and over again, but not me. I rather rewrite the books and implicate my own personal chapter. No drug deal, no murder rap, no court convictions just a young brother with personal convictions. I rap with real pain and passion not a made up story, something that most regular people can relate to. I know most think they are above average and that money and flashy shit are the norm but unlike the minority that sees only black and white I rap and do this shit for those who see the world in a different spectrum. I spit in various colors and hues we all can relate to. If by chance the story of my life changes so will the music.

I represent the block known as Lenox Road in the Flatbush area of Brooklyn. Hip-Hop didn't introduce itself to me I had to introduce myself to Hip-Hop. Sort of like that cute girl you're afraid to talk to, you just gotta get the words right. I am a Team 440 Black Ice/Front Office representer. 440 Lenox is where it all came together, the first time I met K-Breezy, Blaze, DJ Blackstar, Touchdown, and Arsenix. This is what I love, and right now all I know.
