Q: Hi ... Googling 'Phavian' returns ♪ Only You ... ♪ !! So, where does the band name come from? It's so fitting there just must be a story.
A: Actually I think around page 100 some random online fantasy story has a city named Phavian in it. But we were there before that, so I have no idea where they got the name. As for where our name came from - we get that asked a lot. Sadly, the story isn't too excited. Basically Puyan, one of our guitarists, remembered a name suggested by me (Patrick), incorrectly and said, "Phavian" instead. Or at least that's the story we tell for now. Eventually I'm going to come up with a fantastical journey full of witches, wizards, demons, and cookies. Only then will the story of our naming be appropriate.
