Phat Mat was born in Guelph, Ontario on October 27th 1986. Shortly after his family moved to Fergus, Ontario where he would then spend his entire childhood and teenage years. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School in Guelph from 2000-2004. This Was the part of his life where he would fall in love with Hip Hop music but hadn't yet realized his true fate as an underground artist.
