Bringing YOU Petri Suhonen:
Born 1980 in Kuusankoski, Finland, Petri Suhonen has always been interested of computers and electronics and at early nineties that interest led him into the world of pc's music making programs. Why electronic music? Beats and the rhytmical elements of electronic music genre has always fascinated Petri and although he has no musical education, that hasn't stopped him making music seriously and enjoying it. At 2003 with new gear and software he finished a trance style track called "Turnpoint" under the project name Primo Lux. Lot of dj's gave it a support - so much that it popped as number one in dutch dance charts! After "Turnpoint" there were a follow up called "The Wall" which was Petri's second single release through Galactive. "The Wall" had also its support from a dj's like Tiesto for example. For now Petri has concentrated into totally different genres. As "Turnpoint" and "The Wall" were pure trance, Petri's latest tracks are quite far away from trance although they're still electronic music. Funky, swinging breaks, big beats and basslines combined to emotional melodies... that's what Petri's trying to achieve in he's recent music. This quite drastical style change is a result of a live project called "The Red House" where Petri is involved as, as he likes to call himself, a 'practising keyboardist'.
