Sounds Like: Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, No Doubt, Blondie, Sublime
Bio: Perpetual Mood Swing is a female-fronted cover band based in Turner, Maine. PMS plays a variety of rock songs from the 60's to the present. The band's name derives from our habit of combining styles and moods throughout the evening and has no relation to the personalities of the members. ;)
“The music encompasses all genres; popular songs from the 60's until present day are played with seemingly effortless ease. You will hear everything from Janis Joplin to Glenn Danzig - a cover band who truly plays it all, and very well at that. PMS wants you to get up and dance, and Rachel is just as inclined to cut the rug with the crowd as she is to belt out a glorious rendition of "Fever." PMS wants to give an interactive experience with hours of incredible music. Having been a band for about one year, PMS already has a loyal following. Any venue who books these determined, professional and fun loving musicians is in for a real treat. Overheard at the most recent show " it's rare to see a cover band with female vocals." Rarer still to have a multi-talented singer who plays rhythm guitar and flute as well, along with the brilliant musical talent of Lee, Mike and Dan. One thing that shouldn't be rare is the chance to catch a performance!”
