Permanent Midknight / Press

“I originally found out about North Carolina’s Permanent Midnight back when I was doing the PDF versions of the Loucifer Speaks zine and I’ve been keeping an eye on them ever since. “Forever Never II” is the most recent track I’ve heard from the band and it’s most definitely not a disappointment. The anger-filled vocals rip over the top of aggressive guitars, bass and drums – while a ridiculously catchy keyboard line weaves in and out of the mix. I’m guessing it’s a keyboard anyway… whatever it is, it works. “Forever Never II” is a track that’s full of energy and is impossible to ignore. A real thrash/metalcore inspired gem.”

“Where would I be without MySpace? My bank balance􀀀 would be a whole lot healthier (as I seem to purchase a􀀀 shitload of CD’s and merchandise from bands on there!)􀀀 and I wouldn’t have ever found out about Permanent Mid-􀀀 knight. Missing out on PMK would have been a crime against meta”

“This band is impressive from the start. PMK's music doesn't grow on you, it hits you in the face full force. The band's energy is enough to cause an adrenaline overload. The newest line up comprises new members and returning members with the dedicated main stays. Mouthful? yeah. Earful? definitely.”
