We'll be doing a songwriter's set at Mystery after the Carrboro Music Festival. I am pretty standard re what I like in a beer (Newcastle, Bass, Harp) but I had a tiny thimble of something really lovely at Mystery the last time I was there. My advice is, come, enjoy the show, and try something "crafted" by the experts.
Pete has a 9 p.m. set at Steel String, and we'll be swapping songs and playing some together. If you can't come see us in Hillsborough at Mystery Brewing Co. on Sunday night, this will be a good alternative!
I'm headed to Virginia--this will be the last time I'll play in New Bern for a while to come. Stop by the History Center to listen and buy some art. I'll have CDs with me.
My set at the Durham Art Walk is going to be over at the Durham Arts Council Pavilion between 2:15 and 3:30. Should be a fun afternoon of art, music, food (surely there's food), and amusement. Come by, have a listen, and say hi--I'm excited I'll be in the Bull City for a change!
Sounds Like: Nanci Griffith, Joni Mitchell, Victoria Williams, Sandy Denny

Great time with Radar's Clowns of Sedation at Halloween...I'm going to be taking some time out to write and work on songs this month.
Ask Penne Sandbeck anything...
Q: Can I have your autograph?? :^) A bit of advice; don't tell folks not to listen to the later songs on that CD: It's ALL good! It was the sound track of the southern half of my drive home. Cheers,Roll
A: Ha ha, I'm a terrible salesperson! Glad it got you through part of the trek northward! See ya one of these days.
