His father taught him to be a master in classical music, but Leo's dream was to play modern music. His farther taught him the tricks of the trade and how to feel music and/or play from the heart. This technique can be found in Leo's tunes and performance. His classical background is brought forward into modern music with classical instrumentation and expression.
