Formed in Portland in 2003 by front man, songsmith—(and, then, freshman in high school)—David Pollock, Paper or Plastic has had considerable success, playing the Vans Warped Tour and opening for The Tubes, Bowling for Soup, and Geoff Byrd. Before relocating to New York City in 2008, Paper or Plastic had received healthy doses of radio play and media attention, had been rated one of the “Top 10 Up-And-Coming Bands in the Northwest” and was twice named a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Six years later—(and some members still can’t sit in the bar)—Paper or Plastic is keeping the momentum strong and the energy level higher than ever.
