More of a project than an actual "band", Pain of Truth began in May of 2006. Started on a mere whim, 'Pain' has snowballed into the now, having released a first set of songs on SNOCAP. With influences deriving from Metal, Hard Rock, Rock, Jazz, Blues, and Grunge.

While not exclusive to these genres, some influences incluse Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Black Label Society, Pink Floyd, Rush, Aerosmith, Diana Krall, Chris Botti, Louis Armstrong, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Styx,  The Black Crowes, Skynrd, .38 Special, Faith No More, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Motley Crue, and so many, many more.

A full Cd release is in the works (now in the recording studio) and is projected for sometime in 2008.  New recording techniques are in place on this new work and the preliminary tracks sound awesome. The cd promises to blow the peviously released tracks out of the water.
