The Quixote Project / Press

““So, we walk into this bar and there’s a little makeshift stage in the corner where 5 guys are crammed in playing a song that we quickly deduce is called “Jersey Girl”. The original lyrics and music catch our attention right away, but it is the unique, can’t help but fall in love with, voice of singer Jeff Selby that has us agreeing to hire this band for Camp Jam before we hear a second song or even speak to them. Quixote Project hit our stage the following May and we continue to champion this band to this day.””

"The band’s inability to be labeled or categorized by genre is their greatest strength. The unpredictable and idealistic arrangements entrance listeners, with a sense of edible intimacy."

"It's not really important though how you decide to label their music, the more important thing is, that it's good. The eight songs found on this release offer up tight musicianship, along with lyrics that the band hopes will not only shake your body, but will also have your brain speculating as you ponder the meaning behind them."
