“I traded some e-mail with Tha Looperz Tony Green, who answered three questions about the band and the album: NJ.com: Why "NJ Transit" as the title? Tony: Well NJ Transit is the first song the 3 of us wrote together. It's the one track people at shows seem to like the most. Also NJ Transit represents our travel through NJ and our want to see other places in the world. NJ.com: What's your weirdest NJ Transit ride story? Tony: We were on an NJ Transit bus going to Ridgewood from Garden State Mall and these two girls were, let's say, getting really close on the bus. After that? It was probably the train to Hoboken for our first live show. NJ.com: Fill in the blank: If you like _____ , you will like Tha Looper Tony: If you like dance music, acoustic, old school/ modern/or alternative hip hop like the Roots, Wu-Tang clan or even Drake, then you'll find something you'll like on our CD. Good luck with "NJ Transit", guys. Here's the title track. ”

“Check out New Music from Rapper/Producer Tony Green . The NJ MC has been creating a huge buzz throughout the Tri-State area with his witty punch-lines, metaphors, wordplay and high speed, rapid delivery. Raised in a small town, Tony Green’s music gives rap fans a very different view through his experiences with the drug culture, crime, and family struggles, as well as touching upon issues including disease, abuse, incarceration and racism. His full length album “The Tony Green Files” covers many of these topics, a refreshing alternative to the often content-lacking music currently out. The album also features songs about the difficulties of struggling to be heard, political and class issues , race issues, prostitution, alcoholism, drug abuse and more. According to Tony Green, the main focus of his music is to shed light on the unseen dark-side of parts of America that are always made to look clean and perfect. The Jersey MC is just telling his story openly and honestly. ”
