T.C.F. - OFFICIAL STATEMENT:
Hi Guys,
Been a long time since someone checked in on the TCF profile. Fact is we have never really picked up on facebook after myspace went downhill. It is with great regret that we have to inform you that TCF is no more. Of course we didn’t do much over the course of the past 8-9 months but we still had hope we would pick up at some point. However we had some good talks this week and felt we had to decide about the bands’ future. Fact is that the motivation problems were still there to such an extent that we just can’t continue. TCF isn’t the kind of band that can continue without one of it’s members so if one of us isn’t into it anymore it’s just over. However we are VERY proud of the music we released on our self released EP “Core ‘88” and our Malevolence Records release “Where Madness Reigns”. It’s the music that always kept us going and it’s the music that will always remain in our hearts. We want to thank all of you and especially Nate McLeod and Malevolence Records for believing and supporting us. Oh we are DEFINATELY open to some stupid amounts of money for a reunion gig in a year or two hahaha! Sorry couldn’t resist…
Cheers!
TCF
PS, we still have shirts and CD’s contact us if you still want some, who knows they might become collectors items?

KAOS - All good things must come to pass, so the next and last KAOS Show will be held on Friday, January 18th 2013 at the world famous Slim’s in San Francisco, CA.
It has been an awesome ride spanning 25 years, playing with tons of kool bands, meeting a lot of great people, seeing the world, and TONS of support from family, friends, and all the rest. But now it is time to take a step back and let KAOS be…for no other reason except, it just feels right.
We cannot thank you all enough for the years of support and long hours of work, sacrifice, endless time and efforts that have been given to the KAOS engine.
First we would like to thank and give our deepest respect to the guys who have been a part of this metal family over the years. Joe Loescher, Jay Figueroa, Tom Lettier, Josh Valdez, Sean Boyles, Burton Ortega, Keven Gorski, and Paul Cowan, your contributions and music is forever carved in our name. And to James Humphrey, Shane Larson, and Shane O’Brien for filling in the gaps on our journey.
We can never forget those who worked on the inside and who devoted their time and effort. Michelle Murray for her dedication, love, countless hours promoting, managing and keeping us glued together. Nathan McLeod and Malevolence Records for believing in us and simply being a fan of what we have done. Melissa with Warped Records, Mario Perotti with Powerslave.com, Tambre Bryant for opening the door to Europe, and Beth Risner for being there in the beginning of it all.
There have been some folks that have influenced, helped, believed and really made a difference for us and everyone involved along the way. Phil Demmel, Sean Killian, Rob Flynn, Joey Huston, Walter Morgan, Pascal Boland, Carl Fuli, Eric Mogridge of Epidemic and the boyz, Chris Collins, Tim Rodriguez , Jamie Jacoby, Pete and Mystic Rage/Bands4Bands, Jimmy Arceneaux and the Stone/Omni Crew, Benny, Spandex Marco, Mark Keaton and the old Sharkbite Studios, Jon Torres, Bungee Brent, Lorenzo Pino, Jon Kingsley, Eddie Koeller, Dennis Darnell, Craig Ploof, Amelia Leal and Chris, Anthony and Marissa, Danny Montenegro, Donna Wolfe, Kelly Ronchette, Keith, Steve, and the Bellino family, Andy Hernandez, Nikki Blakk, Dave Marquette, Jerry Allen, Danny Shipman with Reality Check TV, John “Rudeness” Ryus, Sergio Collazo, Tony, A.J., and Brandon with Tactical Lighting, Michael Pina with Pina Pix, Frankie, Greg, and Billy B. for immortalizing KAOS in flesh, and every single venue we stepped foot in.
We have had nothing but good times full of mosh pits, beer, and whiskey along the way to seal the deal on this kaotic rollercoaster metal show. The stage lights are being dimmed, but the name and the music will live on.
There are 25 years of people and memories that have graced our individual lives and KAOS. It is impossible to list each and every one of you. We have filing cabinets full of radio, fanzines, bands and fans that have spread our word and our music over all of these years. Each and every one of you are important to us and have touched our lives. To keep it as simple as we can…We are grateful and thankful for ALL OF YOU!!!
Cheers to all of YOU….

T.C.F.

T.C.F. "WHERE MADNESS REIGNS"
(13 Songs) MALEVOLENCE RECORDS
T.C.F. was a great delight to find in my review pile. This is my first time experiencing these guys and I loved every
minute of it. T.C.F., which stands for THRASH CORE FANATICS hail from The Netherlands and play a killer form
of Crossover music. These guys take me straight back to when I was first starting to get heavily into music and very
serious about it. Their music is straight out of the mid 80's when Thrash Metal and Hardcore were starting to git over
their different separation boundaries and started to merge. Both Metal and Hardcore were shunned by just about
everyone who wasn't into the two genres and started to realize they had a lot in common. T.C.F. could have been one of
the bigger bands if they had come out during that time. Their music has that fast paced crusty crunchiness that was
found in early Thrash Metal mixed with the hard edged aggressiveness of Hardcore music. The music is fast paced tempo
with a bit of a dirty groove that runs through it. The vocals are done in that mid ranged angry Crossover style. These
guys are definitely one of my favorite new bands that I have recently heard. It makes me really miss those good old days
of listening to aggressive music to get all the shit from your miserable day out and feeling good afterwards. Their song
"Slave To The Suit" reminded me so much of D.R.I.'s "Suit & Tie Guy" & "An Eye For An Eye" was like listening to
just about any M.O.D. or S.O.D. song. If you were to combine the great bands D.R.I., C.O.C., S.O.D.,
MO.D., THE SPUD MONSTERS, CRUMBSUCKERS & early NUCLEAR ASSAULT & early SUICIDAL
TENDENCIES you would get this amazing band. Thanx for the great tunes guys and a great trip to the past of great
music times! These guys have made a great tribute to the above mentioned bands by putting out an amazing album in the
same style of the above greats! THRASH CORE FANATICS is one great band that needs to be heard and supported!!!

SEPTIC CHRIST - GUILTY AS WE WERE BORN
MALEVOLENCE RECORDS
Metal To Infinity http://users.telenet.be/metaltoinfinity/SepticchristcdreviewGuiltyaswewereborn.htm
Septic Christ was founded in the Southern part of German by a bunch of guys really into Thrash Metal. It was back in late '07 early '08, Septic Christ had a mission to complete – taking the world by storm with their own way of Metal so called Thrash! A bit later on, the band has heard with the release of a three track demo entitled “Pleasures Of The T.H.R.A.S.H.” and you can better take this titled for real. Available on CD but also on cassette tapes, just like in the good old days, remember? Thrash Metal maniacs those who like their stuff mean and pure liked the demo – starting from there, Septic Christ has been linked to favourable reactions from press / media as well. Excellent start for the band and more was well underway. A debut album “Infected Existence” appeared in May '09 & was highly praised within the underground Metal movement. Septic Christ might be unknown for some of you out there but take it from me that their these guys know how to Thrash for sure! A very well done debut album has always requires for a follow-up so Septic Christ did what their fanbase longed for to record a brand new album, meanwhile unleashed through Malevolence Records (California, USA). CEO ‘Nate of this label delivers a great job releasing, besides Septic Christ, also a few other worthy and highly recommended works coming from Kaos, Absentia, T.C.F. and Mat At Sam. Each one of these releases has loads of aggression and power on board but once again, worshippers of Thrash Metal will have a blast while checking out these mentioned troops of thrashing steel. Back to Septic Christ and their new output “Guilty As Were Born” well, talking about fast and furious kinda Bay Area style Thrash Metal. The album completely defined what I’m trying to tell you here. Damn sure, the album kills, rips & destroy all the sickness in the world. Violent aggression that burns from within obviously, they want to bring a message to the outside, to me mostly fucked up world of today. Titles like: ‘Screwed And Ill’, ‘Welcome To The Championship Of Corruption’, ‘Exile The Leaders’ and ‘Political Playground’ underline the fact. Make your own position hard while making Metal music is a very good point - do not mince your own word, just spit it out no matter what it takes. The titletrack is actually an intro followed by eleven new songs able to blow you apart. “Guilty As Were Born” takes me back into the good old days of US Thrash Metal and genius acts like Atrophy, Demolition Hammer, Crumbsuckers, early Sacred Reich / Anthrax / Nuclear Assault, Kaos, & Sacrifice. Aggressive, harsh vocals that spares nothing or nobody. In full force and fully merciless, he spits aggression right into your face. Awesome thrashing guitar rhythms including fast solo’s to be sharp as a knife from the beginning till the end. Occasionally, there are some less rapid moments to gasping for air and believe me, you will need it. The album offers mainly aggression and speed but another interesting fact to mention is that Septic Christ is definitely able to build up their songs spontaneously and determined! Real good album for those not afraid to go hard and fast – I would urge to order Septic Flesh’s new album “Guilty As We Were Born” to all die-hard Thrash Metal maniacs quickly through THIS link. Along with Kaos, Absentia and T.C.F., Septic Flesh will play at the Metal Over Oostrozebeke Festival (Belgium) at Jul 7, 2012. More info on the festival HERE. Killer Thrash Metal album reflecting a Bay Area character! My Points: 88 / 100 (Review by Stefan)

TALAMYUS - RAVEN'S CALL TO ANNIHILATION 2011

Songs: 1 Raven's Call to Annihilation 2 Inner Turmoil 3 The Dead Will Walk the Earth 4 The Berserkers 5 Remembering the Gods 6 Spawn of the Elements 7 Darker Days Lie Ahead 8 Disciples of Hypocrisy 9 Warlock 10 The Curse
A keen metallic netbúvárok certainly have to be familiar with the Canadian Talamyus name, if different plates that Raven's Call to Annihilation was not hearsay level, because the band is the third in a row. Just about as much due to them, in those days brought out a plate when I peaked in the viking metal per Madness (2005 and 2007), and although I would not say that the style waves horse trained particularly serious heights have increased the band music, so far as I know, the style was known supporters of the troops. That he give them the Raven's Call to Annihilation how will please not know me, in any event, such a deep impression did not leave the material, being musically far there is no much of a eresztésről, beyond the team's Viking units in former times also began vigorously to cut the the straightened look was redesigned so that a smooth old school thrash metal can be defined in the heard, of course, tiny Amon Amarth, Einherjer overtones ...
Anytime is safe to consume music is heard in the Raven's Call to Annihilation-you, but the person can easily feel that they are too many clichés and megmikrózott, unhooked shelf template. Of course pleasantly smooth throughout and the tuff thrash riffs and a bit trite leaning ritmusgitározás only those of the eye to insert necessarily all of their costs catches want to find Talamyus wedge in his music, but the fact that Canadian guys have megerőltethették themselves much better because nowadays not seem such or similar songs may be a day for a whole disc material open letter slight exaggeration. Melodic death metal, power / heavy and old school thrash metal cliches too numerous to mention pops out constantly, all of Amon Amarth is typical gumivikinges, muffled sound is packed with many epic solos, Iron Maiden and galoppozással (!), sticky canned Viking melodies, and I was forced to think that this is one more band that career waist suddenly figured out that he was In the classic heavy / power and régisulis thrash metal s sake will respectfully pay tribute ... In particular situations, but the fact remains likable album has done this, you can hear it in the future, but only if you really have added value to the style because unnecessary search through a single or unique voice is not unfortunately the disc, correct finger exercise, undertaken artisan work. Those who sting is usually that sort of thing, they persuade him straight to the plate supply / megfülelésére, given that that disadvantage due to kliséiből the material in one of the advantages, since a tried and elsewhere have been thoroughly learned, knows all because of music involved, especially the 2000 Approaching from Viking's death and thrash revival movement, so uncertain factors zsákbamacskáról or in this case, absolutely can not talk about ... Not a world changing material, a bit boring, is based on a lot of the same schema with the Raven's Call to Annihilation-self, yet graceful, melodic and simple metal music, and as such, has its own charm, so I can hardly be angry for this team. Of course, in return for very high scores do not count, because pretty mean things are concerned, but considering that by the end of 2012 too many big names did not slid into the extra time to smooth out you can then spend up to Talamyus wedge last album as well - of course, only If there is no better music in our neighborhood!
