Hello Leila
This isn't really a comment (I DO love your music) but a message, but RN would only let me do a comment.
I'm looking for some female background vocals for a song I'm recording (at James Glinski's studio), and you came to mind. You probably remember me from Epic Café when I was half of Jojoba Witness, and I also howdied you once at Einstein's.
Ideally I would like 2 or 3 different female voices, if you know other likely candidates, or we could overdub your voice. The part is very simple, just a few lines. -- a Steve Forbert cover called "Good Planets Are Hard to Find" It's the chorus, with its answering lines: "And the mind don't know (and the mind don't know), if the heart can't see (if the heart can't see); let the blind man go (let the blind man go), to his destiny". I think my version will be better than the original; sort of a roots rock version.
Please let me know if you are interested, and what your fee would be.
There might be other projects we could collaborate on. Your style reminds me of Maria Gadu, a Brazilian singer. I've really gotten into some of the Brazilian stuff.
Thanks, and all the best.
