Hello. Just wanted to introduce myself, as I saw you'll be playing at Hard Bargain's Spring Farm Festival. I'm fortunate to be debuting my solo act there. Looking forward to meeting you all.
So sorry we didn't get to hear you once again! We hope to get a big show together in Alexandria at the end of the summer, as an addendum to our charity Catjam. There will be several great solo performers there, we would love to invite you to do a set also, An end of the summer bash so to speak! Want to pay the performers a little something, but it is a fundraiser for charity, we're not doing it for money either- We'll send you and email with the details when we find out!
Freddi Szilagi in my view has one of the finest lead voices in bluegrass music. He doesn't sound like he's 80 like the original guys do, but with all respect to them, many modern ears don't understand the authentic sound. Yet he is not "folky" and retains the high tenor mountain quality
I listened to "Foggy Mountain Breakdown." Great classic bluegrass tune. Look me up if you all are ever in the Greeensboro, NC area. I would love to see you all perform live and/or jam with you all. Sincerely, Shane
Thanks Shane, yes some of us have been to Merlefest, where you get a little bit of everything! You sound great!
Great sound:) I first discovered bluegrass at our celtic music festival "Celtic Connections" where I saw the Packway Handle band. Was great and it's good to hear some more :)
Well, thanks, you sound mighty fine too, Andrew after all bluegrass has Celtic roots, we learned just a couple of Irish tunes for our St Paddys day gig coming up-
