My user name on your site is TallHawkFriend, because "Follow The River" author James Alexander Thom's wife, Dark Rain, gave Alan K. Garinger his Native American name, Tall Hawk. Alan was quite tall, and he always looked for and saw a hawk when he was out in nature. I hope you do remember him and perhaps dedicate a song to him someday. Tall Hawk enjoyed hearing your voice as he created the characters in his many books.

Fayssoux, I know of you because of an author friend of mine who fell in love with your voice and went to see you and your husband. His name was Alan Garinger and he came to your house and you all talked for hours. I wondered if anyone had told you Alan passed away in August, 2010. I worked with Alan to help him book museum appearances to promote his novels. He would want you to know how much he appreciated your voice, and your hospitality. I agree that you do have a beautiful voice, and that hearing it makes me think of my friend, Alan K. Garinger. RIP Alan, hope you're listening.

Oh goodness, I didn't know that Alan died. Thanks for letting me know. I enjoyed meeting him and talking to him so much! Did he ever write the Sidekick book that he was working on?
