Hi I am the owner of Rock n Retail, LLC and Web n Retail – Music Marketing and PR companies. We recently re-located to the Oxnard and are in need of an Intern. We've been providing marketing and PR for artists for over 25 years. We offer a non-paid comprehensive training program to help jumpstart those interested, into the field of Music marketing and PR. Our training program is quite similar to the contents of the class I teach at UCLA extension - "Entrepreneurship of the Independent Artist"; but with more hands-on training and one-to-one coaching. We require someone 2 days a week from 10:30 to 5:30. We provide lunch, snacks and beverages. Training here includes: Viral Marketing, Viral and Traditional PR, Building a strong audience for artists/clients through social media, Social media for business, Copy and Press Release Writing, Creating and sending HTML eBlasts (No prior knowledge required), Google Keyword research, Landing a Licensing deal, getting music placed on TV, in Retail and on Streaming Platforms, Press List and Database Management.
