We wanna hear what you think about Butterflies Radio! Call (707) 37-MUSIC and leave a msg! If it rocks, we will play it on the air!
Just a quick update on the addition of new music to rotation.
We know that there are many out there that are still waiting for their songs to be included.
Please know that we intend to get to each and every one of them as quickly as possible.
Just as we were making some progress, we started falling behind again, and I do apologize. With this weekend being Memorial Day, I'm afraid it may not be until next week until we start getting back into the groove again.
Don't worry. As long as your song has been accepted and has been properly ID3 tagged, it will be added. When it is, you will be notified via Twitter and Facebook!
I hope you all have a great holiday weekend!

DUSTY from THE ROBODRUM – Guest on Twitter Tuesday Live 17th April 2012 http://butterfliesradio.com/blog/?p=1938
The Beu Sisters- Guests on Twitter Tuesday Live - 7th February 2012 Once upon a time, there was a TV program called "The Ed Sullivan Show" that thrilled audiences around the world with live appearances with the likes of The Jackson Five, The Osmonds, The Isley Brothers and more You know what? Ed missed out big time because Twitter Tuesday Live got the Beu Sisters!!!!!
If you have never heard of the Beu Sisters, I can guarantee that, after reading this blog and hearing the podcast of today's show, you will be "Beulified over the "Beulicious" trio!
Episode 62 of Twitter Tuesday Live has officially been renamed "TWITTER BEUSDAY LIVE"
8pm, the theme song is starts, then, I hear a familiar voice over the airwaves, but wait ..what has made the host of Twitter Tuesday Live gone ga ga.................. Yes, our guests, joining us all the way from in Florida, three beautiful and talented sisters! Meet Candice, Danielle and Christy.....THE BEU SISTERS!
The correct way to pronounce the name is Beu as in Beu- ti- ful! Being an Aussie, I was going to say Beu as in Spew, but Mark would kill me for saying that! Oops I just did!
Anyway, what can I say about today's show other than it was fantastic! The sisters captivated the audience for the whole show! They were vibrant, energetic, witty and just about stole the show!Mark suggested they have their own reality show; now that would be awesome!
Not only do the BEU SISTERS produce top quality, well produced songs, they make awesome videos too. With so much work going into them, they are like mini movies and they are a great credit to the girls!
Talking of Birthdays, it was my birthday today too, well it's the 8th but being in Australia I am a day ahead! I was treated to a lovely arcapello rendition of "Happy Birthday" and if course all of a sudden it was everyone's Birthday!!! Lol With 16 years in the music business, and so many credit to their name, its refreshing to hear how much they enjoy what they do. Like last weeks guest, they too were signed with a major record label and now are independent doing their own thing! It goes to show what you can achieve as an independent artist!
The show ran way over today....I wonder why! At the end of every show I always ask my husband Mark how it was, his answer today was "That has to be the best show yet Carol" so I highly recommend you listen for yourselves and see for yourselves just how amazing THE BEU SISTERS are! I will just add that I thought they were the female version of BOSCO AND PEC...yes that was another show!!
Please check out THE BEU SISTERS WEB PAGE and connect with these wonderful girls!
Candice, Danielle and Christy it was an absolute pleasure meeting you all! You were true processionals and I have to say stole the show! Mark and I had a fantastic time meeting and talking to you all, and it was nice that you appeared on my birthday so it made it even more special. A big thank you for taking your time out to appear on our show! We would welcome you back in a heartbeat!
We also featured the following songs from our new artists that have beed added to the rotation. All these songs can be heard by going to our web page and hitting the request button!
Tania was awesome and for those that missed the show please download the podcast http://www.butterfliesradio.com/home/twitter-tuesday-live/

Joining Mark and I on our 60th Twitter Tuesday Live, we had singer/ songwriter SHAUN C BRYANT. While I was sweltering in the heat in Perth, Australia, poor Shaun was shivering in a very cold and wet Norwich in England. As for Mark; he was very comfy in Florida!
It was good to see a lot of support for Shaun today, which included some of his friends from France! Mark and I are so amazed with a lot of our guests and listeners who are willing to stay up till all hours of the morning to participate in TWITTER TUESDAY LIVE. Mark and I really appreciate it! For Shaun, it meant he was on the air from 1am to 3am (which ironically is the name of his album) and he kept the momentum going throughout the 2 hour show, he didn’t fall asleep once!!! Lol I remember when I confirmed the times of the show for Shaun I presumed he was going to take the next day off work….but no! Seriously, Shaun was going to be up as bright as a button to catch the 7am train from Norwich to London! Shaun, you are a trooper, mate!
It's very hard to believe that Shaun has only been in the music business for about 6 years! On the show he told us what inspired him to take up singing and writing. We also found out what the “C” was in his name! Throughout the 2 hour show, Shaun was very interesting to talk to, and is clearly geared for radio interviews as he has the perfect radio voice!
Shaun has a passion for what he does and it comes across in the show. Mark and I found him very interesting to talk to and, I can assure you, he held the listening audience for the whole show. I could go on and on and on about the show in my blog. However, it is not as much fun as hearing it for yourself. You can hear the podcast from: http://www.butterfliesradio.com/home/twitter-tuesday-live/
During the show we featured three of Shaun’s songs and as always we ask our guest to tell us a bit about the songs. All these songs can be found on the Butterflies radio rotation:
Angel was the first song I recorded and is the title track of my EP, Angel & Other Stories, which can be purchased from the usual online outlets, such as Amazon and iTunes. The song started as a poem and describes how the love from someone can save you from a dark place of despair. It was originally written as an acoustic song with two acoustic guitars and it was performed that way on BBC radio on April 2010 when I was interviewed and performed live on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire. The album version heard on the show is much rockier but you can find the acoustic “unplugged” track on the five track EP.
THIS IS WHERE
This Is Where is all about that holiday romance we all had as a teenager where the only thing in your world was that other person and how life would not exist without them. We have all been there, right? I then incorporated the “what if” you met the person from that holiday romance later in life and discovered that you still had the same feelings for them. The song was written last summer and we went for a summery latin feel to the track, with a Carlos Santana style about it. This Is Where is a track from the album, 3am In The Morning.
RUNNING OUT OF TIME
The original inspiration for this track came from the Bon Jovi song, Wanted Dead or Alive. The Jovi track is all about modern day cowboys on the road with their six strings on their backs. I took a more romantic stance and wrote about how a musician like me would be many miles away from the one you love on the road and how I needed to get back to them to tell them how I felt. It is a very rocky track with a great riff. The solo and some of the backing guitar is provided by a good guitar friend of mine in the USA called Brett Lloyd. This track will also be on the album, 3am In The Morning.
On the show Shaun talked about how his fans can help him produce and be a part of his album 3am. Please check the link below for more details!
Two weeks until I leave Australia to Join Butterflies Owner MARK LAMDANSKI to join him and his wife Julie in L.A. for the ARTISTS IN MUSIC AWARDS which is being held at the KEY CLUB in HOLLYWOOD on February 10th for more details please check out the web page - https://www.facebook.com/events/145249102253676/
There is also a lunch planned with Mark and Julie and me of course! If you would like to come please check out the details and let Mark know!
TWITTER TUESDAY LIVE 24th JANUARY - joining us all the way from LONDON will be singer/songwriter SHAUN C BRYANT. The show airs at 8pm EST and is interactive with Twitter, so if you have a twitter account you can join in and get a mention over the air by mentioning @allindie. We will be having an informal chat with Shaun and will be presenting some of his music that we have on our rotation. I hope you can join us! it is always a fun show!

Warm wishes from a land “Down Under”
A good start today’s show…..Mark cues up the first song to play, calls me on Skype….and while the song plays we have the mic still on…my husband Mark comes running up the hallway to let us know lol too funny, however it was all good and Mark thought it was funny so we thought we would leave it in! Of course out of respect for the artist, we replayed the song! The beauty of a live radio show!
Our guest on today’s show from Nashville Tennessee, was the beautiful and multi- talented MELISSA VANFLEET! Considering that Melissa was on her lap top in her car, she came through loud and clear….should I mention that she was using free Wi-Fi outside one of the world’s biggest fast food stores ! Lol I won’t mention the store but let’s just say if she was going to order she would have gotten a “Happy Meal”. We laughed about this as we have had so many guests tune in from some very funny places! They will do anything to get on TWITTER TUESDAY LIVE!
Not only can Melissa dance, sing; write music, play piano, she made for a perfect guest and would make a fantastic host! Melissa came over the airwaves in a clear and confident manner. She talked about her musical background, her move to New York, and her upcoming EP called “STARS IN MY EYES” which we are looking forward to hearing!
Melissa shares my love of the big band sound, in particularly Glenn Miller and believe it or not we actually share the same birthday February 8th.
During the show we were getting a lot of positive feedback from people that were interacting on twitter about Melissa’s music! After today’s show, I expect she has gained a few more followers.
Anyway, this blog is just a brief description of the show, and I would encourage you to download the podcast and her MELISSA VANFLEET for yourself! You can also hear her gorgeous giggle and bubbly personality! http://www.butterfliesradio.com/home/twitter-tuesday-live/
During the show we featured three of Melissa's songs all of which can be found on the Butterflies Radio Rotation!
"Martyr" was written by Melissa and her most frequent cowriter Brittany Moses. It is going to be a bonus acoustic track on Melissa's upcoming EP!
SETTING MYSELF UP FOR A HEARTBREAK
This song, like "Martyr", was also written by Melissa and Brittany. It is a heartfelt acoustic piano-driven ballad.
THE MESS YOU MADE
Melissa wrote "The Mess You Made" about a relationship situation where someone is cheated on and instead of kicking the cheater out, she makes him stay and clean up the mess he made!
Check out all of the links for Melissa’s social sites. Please note if you like her FACEBOOK PAGE she is offering a free download of her Adele cover.
This is the promotion for liking her Facebook page!
Melissa, Mark and I really enjoyed meeting you today. I have listened back to the podcast and you sounded fantastic! We hope that you will come back to visit us after you have settled in New York and have released your new EP. We would also like to wish you all the best on your nomination in the ARTISTS IN MUSIC awards.
