Mighty Swine LUST hits 3000 views

The video for LUST came out exactly one month today and we celebrate with +3003 views as of 8am this morning AND we just learned that it is featured on Artist Pro Lists Platinum Spotlight Video along with Jimi Hendrix's new video for VooDoo Child and John Mayer's Shadowy Days.

Thanks Johnny! We think so too. In fact, we have all been listening to the new tracks from the upcoming disc, Goodbye Americana, and couldn't be happier. Pete Drivere & The Hawkeyes outdid themselves on this one - I'm going out on a limb here to say that I think this will be one of those albums that is remembered 20yrs from now as being the one that launched a career much like Bruce Springsteen's 'Nebraska' or John Mellencamp's 'American Fool'

Hints of Neil Young, The Who, Lucero, Drive By Trucker, The Rolling Stones, Jack White, and more - from straight up rock to Americana to Country - this disc has it all - this disc will prove to everyone that the Hawkeyes have arrived! ~ Bob Lung

Hawkeyes, Bikes, & Punks

Scott Tady / Times Online caught The Hawkeyes performance at Pittsburghs Market Square Sunday & had this to say about the band, "Hawkeyes singer Jay WIley always has looked like a rock star, with his puffy hair, wiry frame, and stage moves that include leaps, spins, and splits, (but) he's elevated his songwriting judging by material the band played at Market Square's weekly Bike Night".
