CHICAGO -- Another chapter in Chicago's hard rock and metal music scene is written as emerging headbangers Wicked Deception have announced a deal with DSN Music to distribute their first release "Incite the Riot" this November. The group which was founded in 2006, has risen to the ranks of popularity among the Midwest death and thrash metal community, recently performing with such acts as Six Feet Under, SFU, and Ice Nine Kills.
Wicked Deception joins the growing portfolio of metal groups on the DSN label such as Omen, Mercury Bullet, World Beneath World, Creeper, and Beyond Perception.
"Wicked D is happy to be joining the DSN family" said Wicked Deception's founder, vocalist, and guitarist Lance Huguelet, who also disclosed the group is currently in the studio working on their next album "A New Kind of Horror" due in 2014 on DSN.
Joining Huguelet in Wicked's lineup is Bassist and Vocalist Brian Huguelet, Drummer Troy Samaras, and Dave Russell on adjoining guitar.

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- The music industry is a buzz about the new edgy single "That's Why" from the Bay area hip-hop phenom Diva aka Keldamuzik. Hailing from the streets of Oakland, Keldamuzik's unique style of rap from a strong female point of view, has earned her an international following.
The Diva's endless supply of singles have topped online charts for years, and have been placed in many popular films and TV shows such as Sony Pictures "Please Give" starring Catherine Keener and Amanda Peete and MTV's The Real World.

Hollywood, CA (Top40 Charts/ DSN Music) Veteran rock guitarist Ron Marks, who played guitar for the legendary Swiss metal group Celtic Frost, and founder of Subsonic, has signed a distribution and development deal with DSN Music. Marks will release three previous Subsonic albums on a compilation box set titled "Trifecta", which will include tracks from "Super-Vel", "No Such Soul", and "Blood Groove".
"This is certainly not my first rodeo" said Marks "but it is my pleasure to sign with a company as professional and modern as DSN. The high level of respect and attention to details that they devote to their artists has all but vanished within the music industry."
Marks performed as lead guitarist for Celtic Frost in 1987, and toured the U.K. and U.S. with the group in support of the "Into The Pandemonium" release. He is also credited as a co-writer on Celtic Frost's 1990 release "Vanity/Nemesis". After his stint with Celtic Frost, Marks decided to move on and fufill a lifelong dream to create his own project.
In 2000, Marks founded and launched the popular rock group Subsonic, which spawned 6 albums; "Super-Vel", "No Such Soul", "Blood Groove", "Honeycomb", "Mach Ten" and "Hell's Half". Three music videos (Dream American, A Day Late and Fix) were released as well. Subsonic explores irreverent social visions and affirms how satire eclipses doctrine. "No Such Soul" was recognized in 2005 with preliminary Grammy Award nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Hard Rock Performance for the track "Dream American".

LOS ANGELES -- This month metal heads starving for their fix of authentic head-bangin madness will not be dissapointed, with the worldwide digital release of "Welcome To Room #9" by southern rockers Creeper. The group features Daniel "Danimal" Watkins on vocals, Jimi Fritz on guitar, Doug Wanderscheid on bass and Brian Gutowski on drums.
Creeper joins a premium group of hard rock and heavy metal artists from the Dallas/Fort Worth area represented by DSN, such as Omen and World Beneath World. "Welcome to Room #9" was produced by industry veteran Tye Robison, who oversaw production on projects for artists such as Drowning Pool and Gravity Kills.
Creeper, founded in 2009, has played live with many popular and diverse metal groups since its inception, such as Rigor Mortis, Lynch Mob, and Loudness. In 2010, the group produced its first demo "War Machine" which generated much excitment with local fans. "Soundtrack to the End Times" will feature the new single "Needles and Pins" from Los Angeles rockers Cage9, who just came off an international tour in which they opened for Ozzy Osbourne. The legendary heavy metal rock group Omen has announced it will be releasing a rare collectors album "Into The Arena" featuring live and demo material just in time for the holidays via DSN Music.
The re-digitized project will feature eleven un-released live and demo recordings from the mid-1980's when Omen broke onto the metal scene. Omen founder and guitarist Kenny Powell sifted through his archives to find these rare gems. Powell wanted to release rare recordings of live performances of the original and late Omen singer J.D. Kimball and lineup, featured on such classics as "Death Rider", "The Curse" and "Battle Cry".
In addition, "Into The Arena" will feature demo and rehearsal tracks of popular Omen singles such as "Ruby Eyes (Of the Serpent)" and "Warning of Danger" as well as other rare tracks for Omen fans. The release chronicles the veteran metal group throughout the 1980's, following the death of lead singer J.D. Kimball, who was replaced by Coburn Pharr, and finally Matt Story.
Omen, who will be releasing a new album "Hammer Damage" in 2012, is back to work preparing for a support tour of their new project. "This release will be a ride straight into the glory days of Metal, no compromises, take no prisoners!" said Powell.

The Rudy Boy Experiment features the multi-talented Rudy "Boy" Jaramillo on vocals as well as lead and rhythm guitar, Dave Pankuch on bass, and Ricardo Sanchez on drums, and has released two albums on DSN Music: “Places” (2010) and “Volume 2” (2011). A new single “As The Cursor Blinks” from The Rudy Boy Experiment, will be featured on the upcoming compilation album “On The Prowl” from Tom Kat Records.
Todd Tijerina (Tee-her-ee-na) worked as a guitarist for Chicago blues veterans Byther Smith, Harmonica Hinds, Jumpin' Willie Cobb, Kax and the Blacklight Show, BB's daughter, Shirley King, and others. Migrating to Albuquerque in December of 2000, Todd brings his Chicago experiences to the region, though his music is categorized as blues-rock, you can hear jazz and funk influences in his song writing and playing.
