Pasadena MD- Axes to Grind the online Music Magazine supporting “All That’s Heavy” has, in a few short months, exploded into a multi service music group. Axes to Grind was launched in the fall of 2011. A year later, the group includes regional booking and promotion, CD reviews and live show coverage, weekly podcasts and now distribution. Axes To Grind originally from El Paso Texas formulated under the vision of Ryan Brassard. Ryan, lurking in the darkest corners of the underground scene in Texas provided live coverage and dynamic photos at local events. When Ryan moved to the East Coast in the spring of 2012, several contributors stayed behind in Texas to continue local coverage of the heaviest bands in the area. As soon as Ryan landed on the East Coast he started covering shows and developing his now nationwide wayward crew to respond to the fast, creative and underground music before them. The magazines work has been recognized by Metal Blade Records as well as quotes featured in multiple metal magazines Most recently the online magazine welded their combined strength under the leadership of Ryan Brassard to start Unholy Anarchy Distribution, an online distribution company full of extreme and nonconformist music from around the world. The site officially launched Christmas 2012 and is now the Primary U.S. Distributor for No Serviam Records (The Netherlands) and At War With False Noise (UK). Other Import Labels include Svart Records (Finland), FDA Rekotz (Germany), I, Voidhanger (Italy), Selfmadegod Records (Poland) and Hellthrasher Productions (Poland) Ryan says, "I started Axes to Grind based on my passion for underground and extreme music, and am totally psyched on how it has developed into a collective of great friends who contribute in so many ways. Unholy Anarchy Distro was yet another outlet for my passion, this time concentrating on bringing great imported music to the States for U.S. consumption. Check us out...I am sure there is something for everyone, and I welcome any suggestions on what you want to see stocked. Support your scene and the underground!!!" http://axestogrind.com http://www.unholyanarchy.com
