Videos, Record Deals, Tours

Post "La Voz" feels a bit like pre "La Voz" here I am again trying to find my spot in the wild and crazy world of record companies, videos, tours and the likes. Appreciate all of your support along the way! That feels great!

Recording Again

Hey Guys! I started recording again! I am working with FANTASTIC musicians of all genres, including the world class violin and cello duo the Martos Brothers who happen to live here in Granada. Look up the names below in MySpace or Google and you'll see some of the great people who are making their cameo on my CD Seasons of Love...

I'm still looking for financial backers but I am getting there. The studio where I am working has given me unlimited recording hours (!!!!!) The Town Hall in the village where I live has got involved and all the musicians are working pro bono. God has really blessed me so far so let's see what's next for me. As soon as I finish something in the studio I'll post it here so you can hear it. So far, I like what we've done but we still have a LOT of work to do (I'm trying to get a 100 person choir in on one song). I'll keep you up to date as often as I can. Let me know if you read this because I really do this for you and wanna know how you are too.

Deim p.s. Check out these musicians on MySpace who have worked on the CD: Pablo F. Padilla Ramon Gonzalez Carlos Sanchez de Medina David Leon Javier Aviles www.albertomartos.com www.pablomartos.com

and more to come...!

Al Kooper and Sweet Home Alabama

This morning I had the pleasure of sharing some email with Al Kooper himself. I told him to check out Reverb Nation where I've uploaded this live version of Sweet Home Alabama that I found in one of my archives from my days with the Spanish cover band Passadena.(The keyboard player plays a few suspicious notes during the intro but I'll forgive him this time...;) I found this info on the Al Kooper web page www.alkooper.com: ...In 1972, Kooper moved to Atlanta, attracted by the music he heard there. He discovered Lynyrd Skynyrd at a favorite hangout. Forming his own label (Sounds of the South) to put out their records, he produced their first three albums, which included the massive hits "Sweet Home Alabama,"“Saturday Night Special,” and "Free Bird."... All this before I was born... Thanks Al! Deim
