Puppets and Do -Si Dos

Been an honor to perform with the incredible Flying Donkey Cabaret in Maine. Will be with them again this Friday at Building 16 in Providence RI, a night of pure entertainment, square dancing and joviality. Send us a message for details/ directions.

Mini vans and sore fingers

While stumbling into our borrowed mini van in VT Dan F's piercing shrieks broke the idyllic calm of the winter morning. "What's wrong Dan?" we said. "OW! OW! OW!" He said. It seemed that Dan S had slammed the door on Dan F's hand, such that it was completely closed and his fingers were still in there. These mini vans with the sliding side doors have a metal column between the side and front doors that is very easy to grab onto for support when entering or exiting, especially when its parked on a snowy slope.

Remarkably, no fingers were broken and the damaged digit was of lesser importance on Dan's picking hand, so the show goes on...

Mini Tour

Cafe 9 is a wonderful spot to play music. Had a great time. Its fun to be on the road as it were.

New Songs!

The Low Brow Boys have worked up several new songs, including two originals by Dan Thompson - "Thompson's Grand Waltz" and "World On Fire" as well as one by Dan Fram - "Low Down Delta Blues."

We've also added the old time songs "Aunt Betsy," "Bulldog," and "Memphis Shakedown" to our repertoire. Come on down to our next show or our monthly residency at the Cantab Lounge Bluegrass night - fourth Tuesday of the month at 8:30pm at the Cantab Lounge on Mass Ave, Central Square, Cambridge and check em out.
