Alive (the full song with spoken lyrics) is NOT just the four songs put in a specific order. The song called Alive completes the whole set, which also consists of the four fragmentary ones ALONG WITH the poems AND the images..

There were actually more stuff that was supposed to be included in the Alive set, but thanks to a complete hardware crash and some other technical failure we chose to upload it like this, in a somewhat simpler form.. Of course the essential ideas are expressed as they were meant, and that's what's important here after all..

One more thing I think should be mentioned: the streaming version is a low-quality upload (to keep down the size of the file) and the downloadable version (the one that's in the shop) is an upload with higher quality.

'The haunted forests of the North' and 'A land of whispering runes' are the second and third parts of the semi-instumental song 'Alive'.

'The haunted..' is a guitar-only laidback tune. If there is one keyword for this one it's - Mood.
.
'A land..' brings us into a more distorted guitar- style of landscape. Drums re-appear in a simplyfied manner, and the overall sound turns rougher (no, not 'harder'), more unpolished. The keyword for this one would be - Forward.

So, now we're close to having uploaded the whole of it.. with excerps for some more music of course. And some more words and song artwork will be needed to, as you might already have guessed!

Just bear with us a little while longer, we ARE getting there.. and then you will have some more 'ordinary' Blue Sun Project stuff..!

'The deep Scandinavian woods' is the first part of a tune called 'Alive'... The whole song is almost complete, but we don't know yet if we'll upload it as one whole song as soon as it's ready or if we'll deliver it piece by piece. Think it will be piece by piece though..

The reason? Well, although multi-tasking might work fine, there's no telling what will be completed next. We still have some up-tempo stuff that just needs some finishing touches, so we'll just have to wait and see in which direction the creative process will lead us first..

One thing is certain though - there WILL be more stuff uploaded soon! And the fragmentarious tunes (i.e. RetroSpectra and Alive) ARE being completed!

Eve is the second of the songs we felt we had to upload before creating anything new (the first of these was Maya).
There will be a couple of more songs uploaded in a short while, and we hope you won't get tired waiting for them..!

Ok... one uploaded at least. At last. We'll do our best to give you two more songs before the year is over (this one wasn't really planned, but you know.. at least from a previous blog entry.. Birth!).

Both the music and the lyrics are quite straight- forward in this one, so there's not much to add really.. The music illustrates a very familiar act: chaotic (echoes from before the start) - early structurilisation - illusive monotony - a fade away (where the distinction between IS and ISN'T really shows it's continuous aspect). So there's not much to add to that.
.
Of course, that goes for the lyrics too - they're as simple as they stand... just recall that surface hides the bricks inside!

A couple of new songs are about to be uploaded, and you won't be disappointed (that is: if you like our other stuff of course...).

The question of what a song is - and what it isn't - has been actualized a couple of times during this period.. and we won't bore you with all that, but only establish this one thing: inspiration can take you to really weird places! And some sketches have to be re-considered twice - at least...
Guess we'll start uploading some straight-forward (well...) tunes first, and this will happen quite soon... at least on this side of the new year!

Like we said, we were to celebrate our 138:th visitor with a cover of "We are 138". However, we believe we're doing you all a favor by NOT uploading it!

It turned out as a carbon copy (plus some rhythms of course) of the original song, and the whole thing gave us really bad MTV-vibes... We just wanna forget it, hopefully as fast as any MTV cover is forgotten!

Some brand new songs are about to be uploaded though, we'll wait just a little while with that - but you're about to get some high quality Blue Sun Project stuff soon... and you won't have to listen to a sell-out cover either! Ain't life sweet sometimes?

Living on the streets of Stockholm is no game, guess it's like in any other major city - society seems to be made for SOME human beings alone. Who places us around this globe at birth? Do we choose ourselves or not? Our memories seem to be blocked concerning everything from that time...

Guess our only material homes are our physical bodies themselves (at least seen from here).
