Paula White Ministries Responds To Shai Linne’s Fal$E Teacher$ Song

n an effort to allow both sides of the shai linne “Fal$e Teacher$” conversation to equally voice their opinion, Wade-O Radio requested responses from each of the 12 preachers called out in the song.

On Wednesday, a representative of PaulaWhite.org e-mailed Wade-O Radio an open letter from Paula White’s son, Bradley Knight, addressed to shai linne in response to his song Fal$e Teacher$. The unedited letter is below.

Dear Shai Linne,

My attention was recently brought to your new single “Fal$e Teacher$” in which you say, “Paula White is a false teacher”.

This rhetoric is not new to me; I have heard it since I was a child. It is commonplace in our lives to be called “heretics”, “false teachers”, and “wolves”. Although “wolf” is vicious, it is still better than the oft heard cries of “whore”, “daughter of Babylon”, and “servants of Satan” that so often come from the mouths of our ‘Christian’ brothers and sisters.

My interest in this is because I am Paula White’s son. I also manage her ministry Paula White Ministries. One would think that hearing these accusations all my life would make me numb to their stings… but that is not the case. After all, it is my mother. This is the woman who birthed me, nurtured me, raised me to love Jesus, prayed for me when I didn’t, and patiently led me when I finally embraced the truth of His loving sacrifice. So when I hear a fellow Christian leader, whom has never had a conversation with me or my mother, call her a “Fal$e Teacher” I wonder what “Fal$e Teaching$” I myself have been inculcated with since I, more than anyone else on the face of the earth, have been most exposed to her teachings.

Why Shai Linne Put Joel Osteen And Other ‘Fal$E Teacher$’ On Blast

Shai Linne accused Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, Benny Hinn, T.D. Jakes, Joyce Meyer, Paula White, Fred Price, Kenneth Copeland, Robert Tilton, Eddie Long, Juanita Bynum and Paul Crouch of being false teachers in the third single off his upcoming album, “Lyrical Theology Part 1.”

Lamp Mode Recordings released the song “Fal$e Teacher$” on Friday.

The Lamp Mode artist has called out prosperity—or health and wealth—gospel teachers before, just not to this degree. A decade after label-mate Timothy Brindle name dropped Hinn on “Faulty Doctrine,” Shai felt called to address the topic again.

Lamp Mode released the following video of the Soli Deo Gloria Fella explaining the track.

12 Reasons You Should Not Become A Christian Rapper Part2

7. No Local Missions and Affiliation If you aren’t working in your local community or affiliated with a local ministry, you may want to reconsider. Accountability is critical. Poor overall motive Is this a platform for self-promotion or ministry? Do you want to be famous? Do you want to make friends with other well-known artists? If these are on your list, reconsider. Firstly, you probably wont become famous or become friends with theses artists, secondly, you’re asking for a world of loss and heartache to enter into this field for fame and notoriety. This isn’t Gods plan for you If you aren’t sure if God has led you into Christian rap… wait until you are. You don’t understand how to produce quality If you don’t understand that mixing and mastering are equally as important as your rap skills, connections, performance game, and producers, you may want to reconsider. If you have 116 anywhere in your social media… lol.. Dead serious… if you’re doing this, you aren’t prepared to establish yourself as a reputable brand and ministry. Sounds playful, but it only exposes a novice understanding of how to become your own entity. Branding is an essential and integral part of building your ministry. Imaging, sound quality, and skill set all factor in very critically. Update: Its ok to rep 116 the scripture. However, if you’re trying to establish yourself as a new artists, its wise to stay away from borrowing from established brands. I think the guys at Reach Records might give a new artist, not signed to their label, the same advice. You can’t get work/home balance If your wife doesn’t like it when you’re gone to the gas station picking up your favorite gummy bears for longer than 20 minutes, then you probably can’t be a Christian rapper. Expect days, even weeks apart from your family for little pay. I could write so many more.

I feel compelled to post about this because I want to save you time. I believe God has called me to use the medium of Hip Hop to spread the message of Christ. There are several other objectives being satisfied while I occupy this position, but the Gospel is the ultimate reason I am here. This is a mission field. I want you to stop… and think… before you embark on this journey. Its demanding. However, if it’s for you, its tremendously rewarding and an awesome way to live your life. This is simply a warning to those that may be misguided.

If you have thoughts or questions, if you want to challenge or discuss certain points. Feel free. If you want to add more points, feel free.

Has this list helped you? Are you ready to be a Christian hip hop artist?

12 Reasons You Should Not Become A Christian Rapper

Posted By Viktory on www.dasouth.com

Read the list, we’ll talk after.

This post is aimed at those considering becoming a Christian Rapper full time or for a career.

Most Christian Rappers lose money! There are very few Christian rappers that turn a profit at the end of the year. Very few. Most lose money for years. You think booking is easy?? Churches aren’t excited to book artists they aren’t familiar with. There are hundreds of artists competing both nationally and locally. You have to be exceptional to be randomly selected. Most bookings are secured by relationship and hard-work. You’re expecting quick results The first several years of this will require tremendous personal investment of time and resources with very little return, or promise of return. You aren’t prepared to divide business from ministry Many people fail as Christian artists and entertainers because they aren’t able to separate Ministry from business. You have to have the “stomach” to make good business decisions and ministry decisions simultaneously. If you have the “God got it” attitude Many people think that God will miraculously make everything work. No planning, strategy or diligence required. God will work for me while I sit back watch. Not so. God will bless the work of YOUR hands. You aren’t scripturally sound If you’re not sure where you stand on subjects like “predestination”, “election”, and “prosperity” you may want to reconsider. Its OK to rap about your life in Christ without discussion any of the above topics. However, the moment you grab a microphone, you make yourself a teacher. Be prepared to teach.

Valentine's Day: Not Without Love (From Holyculture.net)

I am single and I have no children. For me that’s not a problem but for others it seems to cause some discomfort. Like when you’re conversing with someone and you begin talking about your life and you say, no I’m not married and no I don’t have any children. You get that awkward pause or that puzzling look as if they are wondering “what’s wrong with her”. I am here to tell you there’s nothing wrong with me. My singleness is not a crime, it is not a disease nor does it require anyone’s pity. If you believe Jeremiah 29:11 (For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome) or Isaiah 55:8 (For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.) singleness just may be where God wants you. I am not saying this state of singleness will last forever but there are so many negative connotations surrounding being single that I believe it drives many of us into unholy and unhealthy relationships that are not God’s intent for our lives. I believe our time of singleness should be utilized to draw closer to the Lord, to become wholly His before we become one flesh with someone else. Philippians 4:11 states Not that I am implying that I was in any personal want, for I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am. Satisfied in whatever state, if we are to ever reach a place of contentment we need to accept singleness as a place of enrichment, purging and pruning that will prepare us for wherever God decides to lead us. We often move from relationship to relationship never allowing ourselves space or time to unload. We carry all those emotions from a previous relationship right into the next one. We need to take time to heal no matter how our last relationship ended. Our emotions need to heal, our minds need to heal and sometimes our bodies need to heal. We must take time to allow that healing to take place and wait on God to move us forward. Waiting is hard to do especially when you see everyone around you in a relationship all in love and happy but singleness does not mean unhappy or unloved. I am loved by my family, my friends, and most of all by my God who loves me enough to give me His very best. I am willing to wait for God’s best. I am not only willing to wait I am willing to accept the life He blesses me with even if it doesn’t include marriage or having children. Don’t allow being single rob you of joy or make you feel unloved. Don’t let singleness hinder you from living and enjoying the life God has blessed you with; you and your gifts are needed in God’s kingdom, don’t be tricked out of the blessing of being utilized in the kingdom of God. The enemy will battle you in your mind regarding singleness. Many times I have lost those battles and found myself in a state of depression felling unloved, unwanted and fearing the future, but I am learning to find true rest in God. I am learning to stay busy in the things of God finding myself free to be used by Him in numerous ways. Writing about it is easy, living it is a challenge but with God all things are possible. So yes I am single and I have no children but I am satisfied finding joy and contentment in this life God has given me, knowing that He gives me hope in my final outcome. Satricia L.
