so, what to do now? here I am at home, punching keys and thinking about what comes next in the endless endeavor that is the promotion of this cd for charity. Well, those of you who have been wanting to catch me live will get the chance it seems. I am in the midst of setting up a series of shows in the Victoria area. I will be playing all the songs from 'Street Scenes' and the new one, ' Ode to a Midsummer's Morning'. If you haven't heard that one yet, check it out on my fan page. If you have heard it, thanks for tuning in. Blessings always.
So here I am on Reverbnation and in less then a week I have a studio interested in helping to produce my first cd. Not too bad for an old codger like myself. Anyway, for those of you who have not been following me on Facebook or MySpace, the whole idea here is to raise money for charity. The cd is called "Street Scenes" and is about the events witnessed by a busker, and his/her intepretation of said events via music. The current clip I have up on my page here is called "Beats on the Beat", and is about a cop on patrol and what he goes through. There are no lyrics to any of the songs, all pure jazz, be-bop instrumentals. I hope you like what you hear, and as soon as I can get this cd released, I'll tell you where you can get it from. And how has your week been?
