The album, "Kismet Culprit" is so close to being done that I can almost see the finish line. Thanks go out to everyone who was involved with this project, especially Jef Leeson who has been so patient and accomodating over these past two years plus working on this album. I am very pleased to also direct you to the new website www.troythompson.ca Check it out and let me know what you think!!

Starting to Play in Peterborough!

That's right boys and girls, Troy is making his way out to the stages in and around Peterborough. Last night I played two sets at the "Rusty Snail" which was a blast, thanks go out to the host Kevin who was a great song writer himself. My 1st set included originals, "Wind & the Waves" and "N.F.A." then two covers, "Badfish" by Sublime and "Turn the Page" by Bob Segar. The audience seemed to enjoy it but I think it was my second set they enjoyed the most, which included original songs, "My Purpose" and "Friend to All" and covers, "Margartaville" by Jimmy Buffett and Redemption Song" by Bob Marley. I had an awesome time listening, playing and enjoying a pint or two as well. I'm thinking tonight I may go out to the Pig's Ear Tavern and try out their new stage.
