New Blues Bettie song!

Check out the Blues Bettie twist of Al Green's tune 'It Ain't No Fun To Me'. Not sure where to 'categorize' this one, but it's funky! We hear there's lots of stories in the recording and production of this one, safe to say it was a long time coming, and has a happy ending! The tune starts out casual and bluesy, with some 'en-masse' backing vocals, then it's time to turn on the angst! The band breaks into a multi-keyboard funk jam, with Felix Pollard (drums) and Billy Pulliam (bass) locked in on a serious groove, Tommy on the Hammond-set-to sound-like-a calliope, and Claude on the Clavinet and Wurli. Serious horn section funk takes it home! Get funky for me one time.... one more time..... 7 times....

Incredible response to the new Blues Bettie recording!

Whoa, the "Finally!" CD is really getting some love from alot of people! We're already at work on our next project, a lot funkier, but still the blues.... Get ready to shake it!

New tracks and new merch!

We're releasing some new recordings, All My Honey, Guilty, No Way Home, Payin' The Cost To Be The Boss, and Say You Will. Really happy with the selection of material we're coming out with, demonstrates the versatility of the Blues Bettie Band. With 9 people in the band, we have plenty of soloists, and plenty of singers. The trick is maintaining an identifiable sound, while still showcasing all the individual talent we're so fortunate to have. Seems like we're making that happen! Check back for more new material, and please download what we have! Ton's of new merch, some sweet T-shirts with different designs, colors, and styles. Stainless Blues Bettie Mugs, cool Tote Bags, and even some iPad cases! Check out our store, available at http://www.bluesbettie.com .

Little River Band/Blues Bettie show at The CoachHouse December 4

Great nite at the CoachHouse on Sunday. The house was packed, and the crowd was really into good music. The LRB guys brough their own consoles for FOH as well as monitors, and connected to the house power and speakers, thought that was interesting. Good news for us though, the in-house crew had plenty of time to focus on Blues Bettie, and they did a great job. Crowd loved it, sold a boatload of CD's, and reached alot of people that haven't seen the band before, so it was good. LRB is an awesome band, vocals are the best of anyone out there, and they are great instrumentalists also. One of, if not the best, 5 piece bands I've ever seen.
