“This album, to us, is the culmination of the last 4 years we have been together as a band. We were in different mind spaces when we wrote each and every track. We have grown up and been through a lot as a band and have continually been pushing to create a great sound that we are really proud of. “Torch” started off as an idea to get all of our favorite songs onto one recording, but it ended up turning into a great journey of discovery into our artistic abilities and letting each song evolve as we picked them apart. Chip really pushed us that way. We owe a great deal of gratitude and thanks to Chip and his abilities as an engineer and producer. Through this process we have come out on the other side a little bit wiser and are looking forward to writing and recording our next project with Chip at ButterSound Studio because honestly, it feels like home.”
