A Hall of Fame Moment!

Congratulations to my dear friend Eddie Lee Cornelius (Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose) as he is inducted into the Carolina Beach Music Hall Of Fame on Sunday November 13th at the Seventeeth Annual Carolina Beach Music Awards to be held at the Alabama Theatre. Eddie will be honored with that organization's prestigious Pioneer Award. He will also perform some of his many major hits including "It's... Too Late To Turn Back Now", and "Treat Her Like A Lady". Summer Is Officially Here!

Hi everybody! This will be the first weekend of Summer 2011. DIRTY RICE will mark the occasion by performing at our two favorite venues in two different states. On Friday night, DIRTY RICE returns to Buffalo's Southwest Cafe in Greendale, IN. Come on out and say hello to Jane, Georgia, Kim, Flo, Ben, and Dustin. Saturday night finds Cathi & Bobby performing with the SLOW BURN Band, making their much anticipated debut at Jim & Jack's in Cincinnati. Call for reservations... Don't miss it! Also, don't forget the C.O.D.A. Summer Picnic at Fernbank Park in Cincinnati! The fun starts at 1:00PM, Saturday afternoon.

Hello everybody. Wow, we are barely three weeks into this new year ,and 2011 has already been quite a whirlwind for DIRTY RICE. We have played new venues and made lots of new friends. What a terrific start! Well, although there may be snow on the ground, we hope that you all will bundle up and come out and spend some time with us. Yeah man! Dirty Rice had a great time this past Saturday at Jim & Jack's with the legendary BlueStone Ivory. Thanks for all your support. We will do it again in December. Stay tuned for details.
