Moved to VT and New Recordings Coming

In what was a pretty rapid decision I have moved to VT! I want to thank everyone in NC who showed support and love and they should know I am forever grateful. They should also know I will be back. Additionally I will be re-recording the Hush Mountain tracks at home (for better quality versions) while I also intend on finally recording a full length record (with full instrumentation) at Hollow Body Studios in MA. Stay tuned as a new adventure begins!

The Hush Mountain Sessions Lyrics

1. Excuse Me For A Second:

Excuse me for a second What is it like on the other side of the dream Do you still find things missing Or is it all you hoped it would be

I remember your struggles on the stage Before your genius learned how to play Sometimes I still like to think When the silence comes That's where I am today

Excuse me for a second Do you remember me at all You said I had the light in my eyes Sometimes it just takes a fall Through yourself To find yourself

I remember my struggles on the stage My genius never learned how to play Sometimes I still like to think When the silence comes I'd never walk away

Don't walk away Don't walk away

Excuse me for me for a second I'd like to find the other side of the dream

2. Across The River:

I had visions across the river where the bankers steal the scene Somewhere between fear and freedom Lie the masses and me

I had a map to Utopia in my head but it led me to these sreets instead Hear the boots of resistance In the rythm of another world they tread

some say I was naive To stand against the wind and believe There could be change in the paradigm This is our time

I have visions across the river where the people steal the scene Breaking the bounds of their thinking They find strength they've never seen

Solidarity Solidarity

I have visions across the river Where we all create the scene

3. Einstein Rosen Bridge:

He steps off a train In a world of stolen lives Cold wind blows down the road Tears well in his eyes Locomotive tears down the pathway of scars Quiet desperation worn On people's faces in the cars

He's just looking for the room to breathe Words of wisdom lost in what society's perception sees Temporal madness has carried him this far In his mind a hall of mirrors A false shimmer of the stars

It's a hard truth riding these rails Light falls through thoughts forgotten As a past in silence fails He stands on the ivory precipice Where dreams are held for too long and time becomes meaningless

He's just looking for the room to breathe Words of wisdom lost in what society's perception sees Temporal madness has carried him this far In his mind a hall of mirrors A false shimmer of the stars

Just a half-mile from the Einstein-Rosen Bridge Just a half-mile from the Einstein-Rosen Bridge

He's just looking for the room to breathe Words of wisdom lost in what society's perception sees Temporal madness has carried him this far In his mind a hall of mirrors A false shimmer of the stars

4. Random Thoughts On A Tuesday

My thoughts render my reality My perception surrenders Where I can't see

Limited by the course of my own life I'll never know what you feel inside You can try to tell me in words But I don't know what I heard Is it the same as it sounds in your head

I'm told I have an old soul For thinking these things through But if it's time defined It's being ends too

I feel so damn new and driven to fear Screaming in the night What the hell am I doing here

I don't know I don't know

My thoughts render my reality My perception surrenders Where I can't see

5. Requiem For Shawshank:

Get busy living Get busy dying It's you're choice

I hid behind these walls I hid behind these eyes Afraid of my own voice

I watched the days roll by Dreams falling from the sky Before I felt the end of time

When I reach the outside I will head for the coast Zihuatanejo El Pacifico There's no memory only hope

Get busy living Get busy dying It's your choice

You say your an institutional man Held inside by your own hand Funny how freedom lies beyond the end of your rope

Get busy living Get busy dying It's your choice

When I reach the outside I will head for the coast Zihuatanejo El Pacifico There's no memory only hope
