This past weekend, we had the privilege of playing two amazing parties this past weekend, one in Eatonville and the other in Tumwater. The party in Eatonville was a joint birthday party for Donny and Jordon, a father and son tandem that just so happen to really love our music. Donny was more than accommodating, making sure that we had everything we needed for the actual gig and then making sure we ate and had a good time before we had to leave. Those jalepeno poppers were so awesome, but damn were they spicy! Thanks for having us out Donny, can't wait for next year!
Our second gig of the day had to be the most unique venue we have ever played at. Our good friend Mike invited us out to his 60th birthday party at the Olympic Flight Museum. I think I can speak for the entire band when I say that it was more than we expected it to be. The crowd was even more surprised as we took the stage and were loving everything we played from our originals to our covers of ZZ Top, Tom Petty, and ACDC. The birthday boy begged us to play more after we had finished our set, so after convincing the sound crew to turn everything back on we ended the night with "Animal" by WASP. Mike, thanks again for booking us to play your party, it was an absolute blast. Stay tuned for more updates from myself and the rest of the band about new gigs and new music!
Yup. We played Uncle Sam's and as usual, we had a damn fine time. Our pals Sea of Misinformation came over from Bremerton to play some new stuff and we met Party Sound Ensemble, a handful of wowie talented musicians/soldiers who can cover anything you can think of. they rock the house and we thank them for starting the night off with a bang.
We have two private parties on Saturday and then Jake heads of to OK to visit his family. He better hope they recognize him without all his rock n roll hair!
It's going to be a hot summer in the northwest, so wherever you are, roll down those windows and crank up the tunes. Hopefullly, you'll throw in a few of ours while making your road trip play list. Rock On! James, Jake, Cody, Colin
