Barnacle / Blog
Thank You
Thank you for all of the support you have given to us throughout the years and for voting for us for Motif Magazine. Our next performances will be either solo gigs or duets. Mary and Everett will be performing a wedding at the St. Anne's Arts and Cultural Center. Everett will be appearing solo with Jon Campbell on the Thursday night of the Mystic Sea Music Festival Everett Brown, Alan Bradbury, and Mary Audette will be providing an evening of traditional Christmas music on December 6 at the Henry Lippitt House in Providence. Hopefully, there will be more gigs to follow. Again, thank you for your support.
All Good Things Must Come to An End
Barnacle, as we have known it, will cease to exist. Due to juggling work concerns and family concerns and a host of other reasons, our last ever concert will probably be December 6. We've had a good run and if you really enjoy us, please again vote for us in the Motif Music Awards so we can go out on a final high note.
Tim, Everett, and Mary will continue to work separately and sometimes collectively (As a matter of fact, you will be able to see Everett as an accompanist at the Mystic Seaport Sea Music Festival 2013 but not as a member of Barnacle) but as Barnacle we will be no more.
Barnacle Happenings
We were proud to be represented by our beloved bones player, Tim Reilly, in the Mystic Irish Parde on Sunday and proud to have our members play on St. Pat's Day at Kelley's Deli in Westerly, Rhode Island. There are a few upcoming wedding gigs and we'll see what else develops.
